Bajaj is launching world’s First Bajaj CNG Bike

Bajaj CNG Bike :- India’s first CNG-powered motorcycle, will be unveiled by Bajaj today in Pune. Ahead of its much-awaited launch, several details about this phenomenal vehicle have emerged, creating buzz and anticipation among enthusiasts and the general public.

Bajaj Auto, a leading name in the automobile industry, is set to unveil the world’s first CNG motorcycle this Friday. After undergoing rigorous testing, this innovative bike, expected to have an engine capacity between 100 cc and 125 cc, is anticipated to be priced around ₹95,000.

Bajaj Auto, renowned for introducing the auto rickshaw, is set to make history again as the first company in India to launch a CNG motorcycle. Today, on July 5th, 2024, during an event in Pune, Bajaj Auto will unveil the country’s first CNG bike, marking a significant milestone in the automotive industry.

Equipped with a 125cc engine, the Bajaj Freedom 125 offers the flexibility to run on both petrol and CNG. This dual-fuel capability allows seamless switching between petrol and CNG while driving, making it an ideal solution for India, where fluctuating fuel prices are a major concern for the average consumer.

Bajaj CNG Bike Price

Priced ₹95,000 (ex-showroom), the Bajaj Freedom 125 is set to be an economical and eco-friendly option. Initially, it will feature a single seat. Bajaj, already successful with CNG technology in three-wheelers, where 60% of India’s three-wheelers are Bajaj’s CNG models, aims to replicate this success in the two-wheeler market with the launch of the Freedom 125.

Bajaj CNG Bike Mileage

Although Bajaj has not officially released details about the bike, it is anticipated that the CNG motorcycle will feature an engine between 100 to 125 cc, accompanied by a 2 to 3 kg CNG cylinder and a small petrol tank. This setup is expected to allow the bike to travel up to 500 kilometers using a combination of CNG and petrol.
