The prices of Pro models fell for the first time:
In the first budget of the third term of the Modi government, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a reduction in import duty on mobile phones from 20% to 15%. Following this budget update, leading smartphone manufacturer Apple has cut iPhone prices in India by up to Rs 6,000. This reduction in iPhone prices is directly linked to the new import duty changes on mobile phones and chargers.

Discount on Pro models
According to Apple’s latest price list, the price of imported iPhone Pro models has come down by Rs 5,100 to Rs 6,000. Previously, the iPhone 15 Pro was priced at Rs 1,34,900 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max started at Rs 1,59,900. With the new price, the iPhone Pro with 128GB storage is now priced at Rs 1,29,800, which marks a reduction of 3.7% for Indian customers.
New Prices of iPhones
The new starting prices of Apple iPhones have now come down across the board. The starting price of the iPhone SE has now come down to Rs 47,600 from Rs 49,900. The price of the iPhone 13 has come down to Rs 59,600 from Rs 59,900. The starting price of the iPhone 14 has come down to Rs 69,600 from Rs 69,600, while the starting price of the iPhone 14 Plus has come down to Rs 79,600 from Rs 79,900. The price of the iPhone 15 has also come down to Rs 79,600 instead of Rs 79,900.

The starting price of the iPhone 15 Plus has come down to Rs 89,600 from Rs 89,900. The iPhone 15 Pro is now priced at Rs 1,29,800, down from Rs 1,34,900, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max has a starting price of Rs 1,54,000, up from Rs 1,59,900 earlier. What’s more, the price of the 1TB variant of the iPhone 15 Pro Max has come down from Rs 1,99,900 to Rs 1,93,500, with a massive discount of Rs 6,400 being offered.
